This is a very stylish water filter jug from Brita. It certainly wouldn’t look out of place on the board room table – or the dining room table for that matter.
A lot of people these days don’t like drinking liquids out of plastic containers. As this is made of glass, you should have no worries about “leaching” of chemicals from plastic.

Here’s a good deal from Amazon – you’ll get a good discount for buying in bulk, it’s cheaper than you’ll find the same package (if you can find it) in the high street shops and the postage is free as well.

Brita’s Elemaris XL Chrome water filter jug uses the Maxtra cartridge which gives an improvement in limescale reduction of 20%.
It’s ideal for families due to its larger capacity – it holds 2.2 litrs of filtered water and 3.5 litres in total. The Elemaris XL Chrome has an electronic cartridge exchange indicator to remind you when it’s time to fit a new cartridge.
It is scratch resistant and dishwasher safe (apart from the lid).

Brita filter jugs are great. They make ordinary tap water tast so much beter and get rid of any potentially harmful contaminants. It’s a lot easier than lugging bottles of water back from the supermarket and – as long as you’ve got an active filter and access to a tap – you’ll never run out of fresh water.
The only minor problem is that the replacement filters can be a little pricey. Cheaper than buying bottled water for sure, but the prices seem to vary enormously from one shop to the next.
It really is worth shopping around, but it can be a pain going from one shop to another. One consistently cheap source that I have found is Amazon. You can buy them online and have them delivered direct to your door. Shipping on qualifying orders is free – all you need to do is spend more than £5. It does take a couple of days longer (but don’t forget it’s free). Still, if you’re in a hurry you can opt for standard, or even express, delivery.
